The reference secondary structure models presented in this section provide:
- A single source for the most current version of the structure models (where non-reference structure diagrams may lack recent minor updates).
- A standard numbering system for each molecule (and, as a result, for its helices and interactions).
- Information about the strength of the comparative support for each proposed interaction.
Reference sequences are chosen as generally representative of their molecule, and are often heavily studied using experimental methods. To access our full database of secondary structure model diagrams, please consult our RNA Sequence and Structure Relational Database Management System.
